Bananas! Very healthy, but NOT for Weight Loss.

As you can see below bananas are definitely a gift from nature. There are many health benefits and advantages to them!  I believe bananas are an excellent choice for someone who wants to put on "healthy weight"

In my personal experience with my own body bananas were not effective for me when my goal was to lose weight! It is a very high sugar fruit. One banana has 28 grams of sugar. When you compare that to 5gms of sugar in 1 cup of raspberries or 7gms of sugar in 1 cup of strawberries, you see the drastic difference. Your sugar intake will greatly effect your ability to lose weight.
If your goal is to gain weight, Bananas are an EXCELLENT healthy option. ..especially post workout.They are also an excellent choice for those that workout a lot more than the average person and want to maintain their weight.
