Stretching is very important!
Stretching is very important to have your best workout as well as to prevent injuries. I have a stretching routine during my warm up as well as after my workout is finished. I will discuss them fully in my up and coming fitness book.
As I have become more flexible, it has helped me obtain a long, leaner, and more toned look than I used to have! Pictured is one of my favorite stretches! A runners stretch with a twist. Once you become more flexible lower down to your forearm for an even more intense stretch. Please notice that my knee stays behind my toe at all times during this stretch. The key is to hold stretches for 15 seconds or longer.
In order to live a healthy and fit lifestyle you must take care of your body! If you do not have an adequate warm up and cool down that incorporates stretching, you will have more injuries.
