In my personal experience with my own body bananas were not effective for me when my goal was to lose weight! It is a very high sugar fruit. One banana has 28 grams of sugar. When you compare that to 5gms of sugar in 1 cup of raspberries or 7gms of sugar in 1 cup of strawberries, you see the drastic difference. Your sugar intake will greatly effect your ability to lose weight.
