Rinse your Canned Foods!

CANNED FOODS
It is inevitable for most of us at some point to eat canned foods. 
Of course, fresh and/or frozen is always a better choice. 
When we do use canned foods it is important to be educated about them. 
Canned foods contain a chemical called BPA which is an estrogen mimicker in the body. 
This can cause a lot of problems with our hormones.  
Canned foods also contain A LOT of added SODIUM. 


ALWAYS RINSE CANNED FOODS WITH RUNNING WATER IN A STRAINER AFTER OPENING THEM!!
This is especially important with canned meats, such as Tuna, as well as canned Beans. 
By rinsing the canned food with running water for at least 30 seconds you will reduce the amounts of sodium as well as the chemical BPA by a significant amount.
