Discovering the power of incorporating balance into my workouts took my workouts and results to another level.
Start on the ground and begin to learn how to calm your mind and hold postures for 30seconds to 1 minute (during your rest set). This challenges the mind as well as the body. Once you begin to progress start trying to balance on one leg, then possibly add an unstable surface. The next level will be to close your eyes. Discover your own power that comes from focus and balance and you will be very happy with the results.
This is great for injury prevention, weight loss, building muscle, and the mind/body connection.
